Baltazar borrows from the fading night skies of early Renaissance art, and the creative flights of fancy of Giotto and Burges. There is a touch of the fantastic, and whimsical with a mix of mythical birds sharing an evening sky with ducks, songbirds and hummingbirds.
The sky is created with a gradated blue pattern that darkens towards the top of the panels. The colors can be reworked and customized to a different scale of colors, and the birds can be positioned either to the top or bottom as designated by the client.
