The Deco Hydra design borrows much from the work of Jean Dunand, a painter and interior designer of the French turn-of-the-century. Dunand was one of the most recognized designers and lacquer artists of the Art Deco period. His stylized, elegant design lines and creative flourishes, pulled from many Asian influences, set the standard for art design in his time. This design combines stylized goldfish, coral and seaweed to create a very emblematic Art Deco effect. This design works particularly well for powder room environments.
