The origin of the design “Chinese Procession” is somewhat obscure, but it is known to exist from roughly 1815 in European design libraries. This panoramic design is one of the most beautiful and accurate views of Chinese life from the early imperial Qing Dynasty. The sophistication and refinement of Chinese urban life are represented with great detail here. This design can be represented in grey or sepia, and characters can be given a touch of color for a playful effect.
